EVENT PRIZE RULES

Rules & Regulations

1. Race results announced on race day will be ‘provisional’. Results and entitlement to prize money shall be subject to the rules mentioned herein and the Race Regulations.

2. Winners for the overall run categories (marathon, Half Marathon and 10K) only will be announced on Feb 11th, after the race during the prize distribution ceremony

3. Age category results will be announced on the website / social media within 21 working days of the event. Winner timings will be declared as per their net time.

4. Prize money will be given within 45 days after the event day. All prize winners should necessarily provide details of bank accounts in India.

5. Those securing the Overall Prize, based on net time finish positions in Marathon, Half Marathon, and 10K races, will retain their top position in the relevant age category within their respective race category. They will be awarded the Overall Prize Money only and will also be ranked in their respective age group. Prize money and bonus winnings are subject to applicable Indian Income Tax rules and the same would be borne by the winner

6. In addition to the above, entitlement to finish positions and Prize Money winnings are also subject to:

1. Bib tag timing captured across all timing points on the course, including at the start and finish mats, and

2. Physical verification by technical officials and anti-cheat cameras.

7. Runners found to have interchanged their running number bib and/or bib tag with others will be disqualified from the competition. Such runners shall not be entitled to any timing or prize money (where applicable). CleoSportz possesses the authority to indefinitely disqualify the participant(s) in the upcoming editions of the event.

8. Prize winners declared may be required to submit further proof of identity/age, as may be required by the Promoter, for disbursement of prize money, failing which the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, withhold disbursement or disqualify the said participant from the competition.

10. On race day, you will receive your finish time through an SMS on the mobile number you have given at the time of registering for the event. Provisional race results, with individual rankings will be available on the event website by 6 p.m. on race day. In case any discrepancy is observed in the results uploaded on race day, a runner can write to info@sportstimingsolutions.in on or before 11th Feb 2024, by 11 p.m.

12. Protests and Appeals

1. Any runner of the Federal Bank Kochi Marathon 2024 can lodge a protest in relation to the official race results in relation to the age category finish positions declared after the race.

2. Only the protest letters received on or before, 21st February will be entertained.

3. A jury shall deliberate, verify and deliver its decision on the Protest within 7 working days of receiving the Protest Letter. The decision will be intimated to the person lodging the protest and shall be featured on the event website, where in favourable.

4. Decision of the jury shall be final and binding on all.
